About Huis van het Kind Brussels
Huis van het Kind Brussels is a network of several houses in Brussels where (prospective) parents can turn to with all their questions about raising children and youth. We offer a warm place where parents can play with their children, or attend an appointment. During various activities parents, children and different partners in the neighborhood will meet each other. Not only do babies sometimes take their first steps here, parents can develop confidence in their own abilities as educators, build a network or learn Dutch during a parent group.
We also form a partnership of numerous organizations in the city that support parents in their daily assignments and at important times, such as pregnancies, when a child is born or when he goes to childcare or to school. We do this together with a lot of different partners. We have an agreement with some of our partners to propose an integrated offer in our homes, namely with Stapsteen, Foyer and HOPON.
